Meet are our club Instructor Pilots. Any of these gentlemen will be happy to assit you in your journey to becoming a RC Pilot.

This is a FREE service offered by the Texoma RC Modelers Club. Flight training is offered to club members and non club members alike. We train the young and "not so young". If you don't have your own airplane yet, the Texoma RC Modelers Club has three club owned airplanes that are specificaly reserved for training.

Here are some pictures of one of our open house training days. We invited everyone who wanted to experience the thrill of radio control to come out and give it a try. The turnout was awsome and everyone had a grand time.

Don't think you need an instructor to help you learn to fly? It's a fact that 99.9% of people who attempt to fly a radio controlled airplane on their own with no experience will crash on the first flight.

In the pictures below, we flew airplanes from 9:00 AM until dark. Each trainee got some time on one of our computerised flight simulators before taking to the air with the help of one of our instructors. Almost none of the participants had ever tried to fly a radioi controlled airplane before. At the end of the day, the club still had all the trainer aircraft intact and there were no crashes.
